1. Get to safety. Move to the right shoulder, switch on hazard lights, and place a warning triangle 50 metres behind the car if you have one. On highways like Sheikh Zayed Road, exit at the next ramp if it is safe to do so.
2. Call Mecanix Garage on +971 52 524 7788. Share your live location pin (Google Maps or WhatsApp), the car make and model, and what happened. We dispatch a flatbed tow truck anywhere in Dubai 24/7.
3. Stay out of the car if it is on a fast road. Standing 10 metres behind the vehicle, off the carriageway, is safer than sitting inside.
4. Avoid restarting an overheating engine. If steam or smoke is coming from under the bonnet, leave it closed and let the engine cool. Running it further can crack the head or warp the cylinders.
5. Send us the dashboard photo. A clear photo of any warning lights and the temperature gauge helps us send the right tools and parts on the tow truck.

Battery failure in summer heat

Battery life shortens dramatically above 40 degrees Celsius. We carry heat-rated AGM batteries on every emergency van and can replace yours roadside in 15 minutes for most cars.
